Customer Delivery Driver – Flexible Hours

About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver for Tesco you will be the friendly face of the brand, delivering groceries directly to customers' homes across the South East. The role offers flexible weekly availability windows and a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with the option to work as few as 12 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Collect orders from the store and deliver them to customers' addresses on time.
• Handle and transport goods safely, ensuring items remain in good condition.
• Interact with customers professionally, providing a positive delivery experience.
• Follow planned routes and use navigation tools to optimise travel.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and road‑worthy condition.
• Communicate any issues or delays to the base team promptly.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Reliability and ability to work within the advertised availability windows.
• Valid UK driving licence and a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift and move grocery items.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Hourly rate starting at £14.18, rising to £15.45 for stores inside the M25.
