Customer Delivery Driver – New Milton

About the role

As the face of Tesco on the road, you will bring groceries straight to customers' homes in New Milton. The role combines safe driving, customer interaction and a variety of physical tasks, ensuring each delivery is a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean and organised to protect orders.
• Load the van safely, perform pre‑delivery checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Communicate any order changes, substitutions or short‑dated items to customers in a friendly manner.
• Handle products with care, treating each order as if it were your own.
• Deliver within the customer’s chosen time slot, providing warm, courteous service at the doorstep.

Required profile

• Build strong relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit.
• Be warm, welcoming and responsive to changing customer needs.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA full or automatic driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than three penalty points.

• Starting pay of £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores.
• Minimum 16 hours per week (roles from 12 hours also available).
