Customer Delivery Driver – Part‑Time

About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver you will be the front‑line of Asda’s service, delivering groceries directly to customers’ doors across Peterlee and the surrounding area. You will work as part of the store team, ensuring each delivery is completed safely, on time and with a friendly attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the delivery van with customer orders.
• Drive to customers’ homes and deliver items to their front doors.
• Maintain a clean and road‑worthy van between deliveries.
• Assist the team with picking and packing online orders during busy periods.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with a friendly approach.
• Team player who supports colleagues.
• Reliable and punctual, taking pride in work.
• Positive, energetic mindset.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.
• Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than six penalty points.
• Good communication skills and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
