Customer Delivery Driver – St Rollox

About the role

As the face of Tesco on the road, you will bring groceries directly to customers’ homes in the St Rollox area of Glasgow. The role combines driving, customer interaction and physical handling of orders, offering flexible hours and a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised to ensure orders arrive in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely, perform all vehicle checks and maintain roadworthiness.
• Communicate any order changes, substitutions or short‑dated items to customers in a friendly manner and process refunds when required.
• Handle products with care, treating each order as if it were your own.
• Deliver within the customer’s selected time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and demonstrate a welcoming attitude to customers.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer needs while on the road.

• Hourly pay starting at £14.18, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25.
• Minimum 16 hours per week (roles from 12 hours also available).
