Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Coleraine)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Experience Advisor to join our Coleraine branch of Santander. Working 31.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule, you will be the friendly face and voice for our retail banking customers, helping them with everyday transactions, technology use, and protecting them from fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in‑branch and over the phone.
• Process cash and non‑cash transactions, answer queries and provide service support.
• Handle inbound calls to the contact centre and assist customers with their banking needs.
• Build relationships, identify solutions and recommend appropriate products.
• Continuously develop knowledge of Santander’s services and products.
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and listening skills with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Flexible and comfortable working a varied rota, Monday to Saturday, 8 am‑6 pm.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, multi‑skilled branch environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk and fraud prevention.
