Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Minehead)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Experience Advisor for our Minehead branch to join Santander’s Retail Banking team. Working 35 hours per week on a rotating schedule, you will be the first point of contact for customers in‑branch and over the phone, helping them with everyday transactions, technology use, and fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the branch and via the contact centre.
• Process cash transactions, account enquiries and routine banking services.
• Provide guidance on digital banking tools and resolve technical issues.
• Identify and prevent fraud, scams and other security risks.
• Build relationships, understand customer needs and suggest appropriate products.
• Contribute ideas to continuously improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across a varied schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 8 am‑6 pm).
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Willingness to learn Santander’s products and services.
