Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Peterborough)

About the role

Join Santander’s Peterborough branch as a Customer Experience Advisor, providing friendly, knowledgeable service to retail banking customers. You will work 35 hours per week on a rotating schedule, supporting both in‑branch and phone interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in the branch or over the phone.
• Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and service requests.
• Answer inbound calls to the contact centre and provide accurate information.
• Build relationships with customers and identify solutions to their needs.
• Develop knowledge of Santander products and services to advise customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work flexibly on a rota covering Monday to Saturday, 8 am‑6 pm.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to learn banking products and comply with risk and fraud policies.
