Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Truro)

About the role

The Customer Experience Advisor will be the friendly face and voice of Santander at the Truro branch. Working 17.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule, you will support customers in‑person and over the phone, helping them with everyday transactions, digital banking tools and fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting the branch or calling the contact centre.
• Process cash and non‑cash transactions, answer queries and provide product information.
• Assist customers with using banking technology and digital channels.
• Identify and prevent fraud, scams and other security risks.
• Build relationships, understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Continuously look for ways to improve the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, Monday to Saturday, between 8 am and 6 pm.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a busy, multi‑skilled environment.
