Customer Experience Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Experience Assistant to be the first point of contact for visitors and members at our new Business Cyber Centre in Chippenham. You will help create a welcoming environment and support the smooth operation of the centre.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional first impression.
• Handle reception duties: answer phones, manage emails, process post and coordinate meeting‑room bookings.
• Support the planning and delivery of events and community‑engagement activities.
• Maintain daily and monthly social‑media updates for the centre.
• Monitor and replenish supplies, equipment and shared spaces to keep the centre running efficiently.
• Assist with customer requests such as courier bookings and local recommendations.
• Provide backup support to the Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable personality with a strong customer‑service focus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work flexibly within a team.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new IT systems and processes.
