Customer Relationship Coordinator

About the role

Davies Turner is looking for a Customer Relationship Coordinator to join its Customer Relationship Team in Hamble‑Le‑Rice, Southampton. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, providing shipping, transport and forwarding expertise while helping to grow the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service information, quotations and bookings while delivering high standards of customer service.
• Receive incoming enquiries, collect necessary information and process bookings accurately and promptly.
• Engage with customers to provide quotations, follow up correspondence and secure new business.
• Handle road and sea forwarding shipments, monitoring credit ratings and outstanding balances.
• Liaise with customs staff, ensuring compliance with Customs Regulations, Dangerous Goods and Insurance rules.
• Collate information to keep customers informed about order progress.
• Work with Sales Executives to develop and secure new business.
• Alert management to pending claims and process them according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure activities operate within company policies.

Required profile

• Previous office admin experience beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
