Customer Relationship Team Leader

About the role

Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Team Leader to join a friendly, professional business based in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. You will lead a busy customer‑relationship team while staying hands‑on with day‑to‑day sales order processing and complex customer queries.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via email and telephone, processing orders and quotes.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints, acting as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Collaborate with sales, production and logistics to ensure smooth cross‑departmental operations.
• Generate and review performance reports and suggest process improvements.
• Provide regular feedback to the manager on performance and assist with KPI monitoring.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow management and resource allocation for the team.
• Support the manager with coaching, performance reviews and team development.

Required profile

• Committed and experienced in customer‑service environments.
• Hands‑on leader who leads by example and remains operationally involved.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a team to meet KPI targets.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing hybrid working patterns.

What we offer

• Salary: £35,000 per annum.
