Customer Service Advisor – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

The Customer Service Advisor will join a medium‑sized industrial and manufacturing firm in Liverpool on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries by phone and email while ensuring a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Process orders accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide timely solutions.
• Update customer information in the system to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide product and service information tailored to customer needs.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
• Monitor and follow up on open queries to achieve resolution and satisfaction.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the service department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and customer management software.
