Customer Service Advisor – Hybrid (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join a leading UK banking group in Edinburgh. The role involves handling complex enquiries by phone, providing empathetic support across a range of financial products, and working on a 12‑month temporary contract with hybrid flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries by phone.
• Resolve issues at the first point of contact, including password resets and detailed statement enquiries.
• Process requests for information or changes securely and efficiently.
• Record all interactions accurately in the system.
• Handle sensitive situations with care, empathy and a customer‑first mindset.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with the ability to handle queries professionally.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach, especially during major life events.
• Willingness to complete an eight‑week training programme.
