Customer Service Advisor

About the role

The Customer Service Advisor will be the first point of contact for clients visiting the bodyshop and retail centre in Slough. You will promote the full range of services, ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Promote all bodyshop and retailer services, informing customers about repairs, parts and vehicle sales.
• Maintain a visible presence at the reception desk, answering queries in person or by telephone.
• Handle technical enquiries clearly, refer complex issues to the appropriate team, and manage dissatisfied customers calmly.
• Initiate new claims in the management system, keep accurate, computerised customer records and follow up as required.
• Process bookings, issue courtesy cars, collect and verify payment, prepare and present invoices.
• Coordinate daily collection and delivery of vehicles, liaising with parts and workshop teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and support the Bodyshop Manager with administrative tasks.
• Maintain and file all job‑pack paperwork, including wheel‑alignment and final inspection documents.
