Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Leighton Buzzard. Working hybrid, you will act as the primary point of contact between our sales team and customers, ensuring orders are processed smoothly and relationships are strengthened.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders and enquiries via phone or email promptly.
• Liaise between sales representatives and customers, providing order status updates.
• Issue purchase orders, send order confirmations, invoices and packing slips.
• Maintain and update the customer database.
• Suggest additional or alternative products and services to meet customer needs.
• Monitor order progress, ensure timely shipment and conduct post‑delivery follow‑ups.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate internal follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with the Customer Services Team to review issues, identify non‑conformances and improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar customer service or order processing role.
• At least 2 A‑Levels (A–C) plus GCSEs (A–C) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Customer‑focused, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
