Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a confident, customer‑focused Customer Service Advisor to join our busy, high‑volume contact centre in Liverpool. You will be the first point of contact for inbound calls, helping customers resolve enquiries while delivering an outstanding experience. The role is full‑time and permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls in a busy contact centre environment.
• Resolve customer queries efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Investigate issues and identify appropriate solutions.
• Provide accurate information about products, services and customer accounts.
• Update customer records accurately using internal CRM and business systems.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve more complex enquiries.
• Work towards individual and team performance targets, including quality and customer satisfaction.
• Build positive relationships with customers through every interaction.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during busy periods.

Required profile

• Approximately 12 months experience in a customer‑facing role (e.g., contact centre, retail, hospitality, sales support).
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Friendly, empathetic and professional telephone manner.
• Ability to stay calm and resilient in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and confidence in decision‑making.
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
