Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Advisor to join a well‑established business on the outskirts of Bath. In this fast‑paced position you will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling enquiries by phone and email while coordinating maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails, providing prompt and accurate information on new jobs, call‑outs and maintenance requests.
• Schedule and allocate engineers’ workloads to maximise efficiency and meet service level agreements.
• Create, update and close jobs in the CRM system, ensuring data quality and KPI compliance.
• Order parts and equipment from approved suppliers when required.
• Liaise with internal teams to guarantee smooth communication and service delivery.
• Monitor reports, manage fault‑related jobs and oversee planned maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing, contact‑centre or high‑volume administrative role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability with a proven track record of multitasking and prioritising.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using CRM software (e.g., Joblogic or similar).
