Customer Service Agent – Construction Materials

About the role

Breedon Group plc is seeking a proactive Customer Service Agent to join its fast‑paced team at Durham Gate, Spennymoor. You will be the first point of contact for sales and distribution queries, ensuring smooth delivery of construction materials across the North East region while upholding the company’s high standards of health, safety and environmental performance.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, internal Sales Managers and Area Operations Managers to coordinate product deliveries.
• Manage day‑to‑day sales and distribution enquiries, providing accurate information and timely solutions.
• Collaborate with Credit Control and logistics teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain detailed records of orders, deliveries and customer interactions.
• Support the company’s zero‑harm culture by adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.
