Customer Service Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join Specialist Sports in Southampton. The role involves handling both B2B and B2C enquiries, processing sales orders and supporting sponsored athletes, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Process forward and daily sales orders for wholesale accounts, consumers and sponsored athletes.
• Manage commercial enquiries via telephone, email and web platforms, providing proactive problem‑solving.
• Coordinate with internal and third‑party operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
• Support teamwear customers and direct consumers, aiming for on‑time and complete dispatch.
• Handle sponsored athlete agreements and related enquiries in collaboration with the commercial team.
• Process returns and resolve product or service complaints.
• Monitor multiple email inboxes to maintain comprehensive customer service coverage.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed by the Customer Service Manager.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and basic reporting.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and capacity to think quickly under pressure.
• Professional telephone manner with clear verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a proactive approach to service delivery.
