Customer Service Manager – Lead Team & Drive Excellence

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team at our Trafford Park site. You will ensure the highest standards of service, manage order processing, and act as the key liaison between customers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily handling of all inbound and outbound phone and email enquiries.
• Process orders in Salesforce and Navision, ensuring timely entry and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor order demand, report exceptions, and obtain authorisations for specialised product orders.
• Coordinate smooth transmission of orders to the warehouse and logistics partners.
• Manage stock‑outs, new product introductions, customer complaints, and returns, including damaged or missing goods.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance on manufacturing faults and with the warehouse on operational issues.
• Communicate pricing changes to customers and maintain up‑to‑date training records.

Required profile

• Supervisory experience in a customer‑service environment, preferably within an office setting.
• Proven track record of managing customer and supplier relationships.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight processing deadlines.
