Customer Service & Operations Executive

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Customer Service & Operations Executive to join a growing design and distribution business in Leeds City Centre. The role blends front‑line customer support with operational coordination, purchasing and supply‑chain administration, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑class customer service, respond to enquiries and process orders.
• Support the sales team by monitoring demand and following up outstanding orders.
• Raise and manage supplier purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers and warehouse partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory processes and data maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve customer and delivery queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service and operational processes.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator who builds relationships.
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload and stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive, positive attitude and a can‑do mindset.
• Experience in customer service, operations, logistics or administration.

Required skills

• Familiarity with business systems such as ERP, CRM or order‑management platforms.

What we offer

• Salary £27,000‑£30,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
• Monday‑Friday schedule (8:30 am‑5:00 pm).
