About the role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our busy branch team. You will deliver outstanding face-to-face service, handle a wide range of transactions and guide customers on self-service and digital banking options.
Key responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service to customers in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Process transactions while maintaining high attention to detail and compliance with policies.
- Educate customers on HSBC self-service devices and digital platforms, promoting alternative banking channels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve workflows and support branch operations.
- Assist other nearby branches when required, with expenses reimbursed per policy.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and show empathy.
- Strong ownership mindset – see enquiries through to resolution.
- Resilience in a continuously changing environment.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 09:00‑17:00 and occasional Saturday shifts.
- Legal right to work in the UK for at least 14 months; sponsorship not available.
