Customer Service Representative (Branch)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our busy branch team. You will deliver outstanding face-to-face service, handle a wide range of transactions and guide customers on self-service and digital banking options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service to customers in a fast-paced branch environment.
• Process transactions while maintaining high attention to detail and compliance with policies.
• Educate customers on HSBC self-service devices and digital platforms, promoting alternative banking channels.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve workflows and support branch operations.
• Assist other nearby branches when required, with expenses reimbursed per policy.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and show empathy.
• Strong ownership mindset – see enquiries through to resolution.
• Resilience in a continuously changing environment.
• Availability to work 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 09:00‑17:00 and occasional Saturday shifts.
• Legal right to work in the UK for at least 14 months; sponsorship not available.
