Customer Service Representative – Temporary (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the European Headquarters of a leading global brand in Hemel Hempstead. The role is temporary, running until 31 March 2027, and combines office‑based and remote work in a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders received by email and telephone, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Handle specialist orders such as bundled products, consignment shipments, free‑of‑charge deliveries and returns.
• Monitor order fulfilment, liaise with distribution centres and delivery partners, and arrange urgent or special deliveries.
• Produce, verify and issue customer invoices while maintaining accurate order documentation.
• Respond promptly to enquiries about orders, deliveries and product availability.
• Manage customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Track back‑orders and keep customers informed of status.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the sales team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service or order‑processing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving mindset and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
