Customer Service Specialist – Hybrid (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, delivering a high‑quality experience across phone, email and internal systems. After an initial training period, the role offers hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via telephone, email and internal platforms.
• Manage enquiries from start to finish, taking ownership of each case.
• Process customer orders and keep clients informed throughout the order lifecycle.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate customer records across multiple systems.
• Meet service level agreements, quality standards and productivity targets.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to processes and the customer experience.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service, support or call‑centre environment.
• Enjoys a fast‑paced office where no two days are the same.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail with accurate data handling.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude and genuine passion for helping customers.

Required skills

• Confidence using multiple software systems and learning new processes quickly.
