Customer Service Specialist/Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist / Project Manager to join the Landing Gear MRO team of a leading aerospace organisation. You will act as the primary operational liaison between global airline customers, aircraft leasing companies and internal teams throughout the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) process.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main operational point of contact for assigned customer MRO events.
• Build and maintain strong day‑to‑day relationships with customers.
• Prepare status reports and coordinate regular progress meetings.
• Provide timely updates on operational progress, delivery milestones and project risks.
• Coordinate customer‑facing activities across the full MRO lifecycle.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics and Quality to meet customer commitments.
• Manage inductions, shipping activities and supporting documentation.
• Monitor project progress and proactively communicate delays or changes.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, warranty claims and quality investigations.
• Support cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Customer Service, Customer Support, Customer Operations or Account Coordination.
• Aerospace, aviation or MRO industry experience (highly desirable).
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer requirements in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with confident communication at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
