Customer Services Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Services Representative to join our client’s team in the Raynes Park area. You will deliver exceptional telephone and email support, process orders and payments, and ensure a high standard of service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service via telephone and email.
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from colleagues and prospective customers.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, communicating outcomes clearly.
• Make proactive outbound calls regarding account information, products and services.
• Support the Finance team by securely processing payments over the phone or online.
• Liaise with internal departments to communicate customer issues and potential service impacts.
• Welcome and assist visitors, providing a courteous reception service.
• Contact customers for additional information or replacements.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems and ensure GDPR‑compliant data entry.
• Provide administrative support to Customer Services, Customer Experience and Accounts teams.
• Undertake additional duties to support the wider business.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and confident telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good data‑entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Mathematics.
