Customer Success / Account Manager – Reading

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Success / Account Manager to join a fast‑growing global learning and development business in Reading. You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key international customers, guiding them from onboarding through renewal and helping them maximise the value of our learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of major global accounts and drive retention and growth.
• Onboard new customers, understand their learning objectives and develop tailored engagement plans.
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, content, technology and customer‑success teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and support contract negotiations.
• Monitor account health, prepare renewal proposals and ensure timely renewals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in account management, customer success or a client‑facing commercial role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Highly organised, commercially minded and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn for professional networking.
