Customer Support Representative – Edinburgh

About the role

This full‑time, branch‑based position involves providing face‑to‑face support to Bank of Scotland customers in Edinburgh. You will help people through important moments, from handling fraud concerns to assisting vulnerable customers and promoting digital banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, empathetic service to customers in the branch.
• Assist with everyday banking transactions and resolve complex queries.
• Guide customers in using online and mobile banking independently.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to appropriate products and services.
• Maintain accurate records and follow compliance procedures.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of customer‑service experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help people.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and show empathy.
• Commitment to delivering on promises and collaborating with teammates.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital platforms.
