Customer Support Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Support Representative to join a leading UK kitchen and bedroom retailer. Based in Denton, you will provide fast, friendly service to trade customers, handling orders, queries and after‑sales issues in a busy office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to support customer needs.
• Manage back‑orders, delays and keep customers informed.
• Respond to queries via the CRM system and maintain up‑to‑date case records.
• Investigate complex issues, handle escalations and resolve complaints.
• Process payments, replacement orders and inspect returned goods for credit.
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve service issues and make cost‑effective decisions under guidance.
• Support upselling activities and follow‑up on quotes.
• Work towards achieving KPIs and departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
• GCSE level education or above.
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
