Customer Support Representative – Office Based

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Support Representative to join our well‑established kitchen and bedroom company in Denton. The role involves processing orders, handling enquiries and supporting trade customers in a fast‑paced office environment. You will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to address customer needs.
• Manage backorders and delays, keeping customers informed.
• Respond to queries via the CRM system and maintain up‑to‑date case records.
• Assist the team with complex investigations and escalations.
• Resolve complaints and after‑sales issues promptly.
• Process payments and replacement orders where required.
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve service issues.
• Make cost‑effective decisions for resolutions under guidance.
• Support upselling and follow‑up on quotes.
• Inspect returned goods for credit when necessary.
• Work towards achieving KPIs and departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• GCSE level education or above.
• Previous experience in a similar customer‑facing role.
