Customer Team Member – Part‑time Retail Role

About the role

Join the Co‑op team as a Customer Team Member, working part‑time in a friendly local store. You will help deliver essential services to the community, whether behind the till, on the shop floor, or supporting the post office, bakery, or online order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and resolve issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle tills, stock shelves, and check product prices, dates and accuracy.
• Maintain store safety and compliance, including temperature and labeling checks.
• Promote Co‑op membership and support local community initiatives.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a mix of opening, closing, mid‑day, evening and weekend shifts.
• Interest in retail environments; previous experience is not essential.
