Cyber Defence Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Defence Specialist to lead the European cyber defence roadmap within Pilgrim’s Europe’s IT Infrastructure team. Based in Rushmere, you will own the strategy, implementation and continuous improvement of our cyber defence solutions across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and proactively manage the European portfolio of cyber defence solutions.
• Develop and enforce robust procedures and practices to foster a culture of cyber‑safe service excellence.
• Ensure cyber defence systems align with security governance and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality service across IT teams, maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Director of IT Operations, IT Infrastructure Manager and Head of Cyber Security to build internal stakeholder relationships.
• Drive the cyber defence strategy, covering penetration testing, SOC management, endpoint detection and response, SIEM, incident response planning and threat hunting.
