Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our IT services team supporting hotels across the UK and Europe. You will work from our Basingstoke office, managing security tools and helping customers maintain compliance and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor EDR and SIEM solutions for our customer base.
• Deliver regular security awareness training and support IASME Cyber Essentials assessments.
• Review, document and maintain firewall rules and ensure firmware, OS and application updates.
• Generate IT risk reports and produce monthly cyber‑security reports for clients.
• Oversee Office 365 and device security, perform disaster‑recovery testing and respond to security alerts.

Required profile

• Inquisitive mindset with a strong interest in cyber‑security.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to travel to client sites using a UK driving licence.
• Full‑time availability 09:00‑18:00, Monday‑Friday.

Required skills

• Experience with EDR and SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of IASME Cyber Essentials compliance.
• Firewall configuration and rule documentation.
• Firmware, operating system and application patch management.
• Office 365 security administration.
• Disaster‑recovery testing and incident response.
