Cyber Security Analyst – Remote (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our UK team remotely. The analyst will support the design, implementation and monitoring of security and compliance solutions for Rhymetec’s clients, working closely with the Security Program Manager to drive security posture improvements across cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare agendas and supporting materials for client business and conduct regular client meetings.
• Configure performance monitoring alarms and security/intrusion detection systems in AWS, Azure, GCP and Datadog.
• Set up and manage mobile device management applications such as Jamf, Jumpcloud, Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Hexnode.
• Maintain compliance monitoring platforms and conduct internal audits, risk assessments and reporting.
• Lead incident‑response, business continuity and disaster‑recovery tabletop exercises with clients.
• Map frameworks (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA, PCI) into actionable items and support clients with compliance evidence.
• Perform employee access reviews, SaaS vendor security assessments, gap assessments and triage vulnerability reports.
• Complete security questionnaires, draft information‑security policies and lead auditor engagements on behalf of clients.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks (PCI, ISO/IEC, SOC 2, DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Logical security skills with hands‑on experience in cloud security.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration of security controls via DevOps/IaaS.
• Proven customer‑service experience and ability to build professional relationships.
