Cyber Security Compliance Analyst – NIS Programme

About the role

The client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Compliance Analyst to drive the execution of their NIS compliance programme. You will work on‑site in Southampton, translating strategic objectives into practical, operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of NIS compliance activities across the organisation.
• Engage with technical teams, business units and stakeholders to gather evidence and ensure actions are delivered.
• Implement and maintain administrative, governance and security controls required for NIS compliance.
• Coordinate activities across multiple departments to meet compliance requirements.
• Maintain documentation, policies, procedures and audit evidence supporting compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the existing NIS lead to convert strategy into deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering or supporting NIS compliance programmes in regulated environments.
• Hands‑on implementation of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) controls.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Experience producing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures and audit evidence.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance activities and priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) is desirable.
• Experience with ISO 27001 implementation or compliance and its alignment to NIS.
