D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant – Finance/SCM

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to drive the global rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across a complex, international manufacturing environment. The role sits between business users, internal IT teams and external implementation partners, ensuring each deployment delivers tangible business value.

Key responsibilities

• Support the worldwide deployment of D365 Finance & Operations across multiple regions and business units.
• Own, refine and apply global process blueprints for Finance and/or Supply Chain.
• Run workshops, gather requirements and validate solutions with local business teams.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, internal IT and external partners.
• Validate designs, challenge unnecessary customisation and maintain alignment with the global template.
• Participate in configuration, solution design, testing, UAT, cut‑over, go‑live and hyper‑care activities.
• Promote process standardisation, continuous improvement and internal knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Functional depth in Finance, Supply Chain, or a blend of both.
• Proven experience delivering ERP projects in multi‑site, international environments.
• Solid understanding of Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics and related business processes.
• Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and change‑management support.
