Daily Supply Teacher (ECT) – Primary Schools

About the role
Academics is seeking early‑career teachers (ECT) to work as daily supply teachers in primary schools across High Wycombe and surrounding villages. The role offers flexibility to choose the days and hours you work, making it ideal for newly qualified teachers who want to gain classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of each class.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to class teachers.
- Collaborate with school staff and follow school policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Flexible, motivated and able to adapt to different school settings.
- Positive attitude and passion for primary education.
