Daily Supply Teacher – Primary (Gillingham)

About the role

We are looking for qualified primary teachers who want the freedom to work on the days they choose. The role is an ad‑hoc daily supply position across primary schools in Gillingham and the wider Medway area, covering both KS1 and KS2.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons in primary classrooms across KS1/KS2.
• Mark student work in line with each school’s marking policy.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about pupil progress when required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
• Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum (KS1 and/or KS2).
• Enhanced DBS clearance (DBS on the update service is desirable).
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Ability to follow and deliver set lesson plans.
• Competence in classroom management and student assessment.
