Daily Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (Maidstone)

About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified primary teachers for daily supply work across schools in the Maidstone area. This ad‑hoc role offers the freedom to pick the days you work while delivering pre‑planned lessons in a classroom setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons in primary classrooms.
- Complete marking in line with each school’s policy.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about pupil progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum (KS1 and/or KS2).
- Enhanced DBS check (or DBS on the update service).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Required skills
- Ability to follow and deliver set lesson plans.
- Classroom management and behaviour handling.
- Accurate marking and record‑keeping.
