Data & AI Engineer – Hybrid – Up to £50,000

About the role

We are supporting a leading technology and data organisation delivering modern, data‑driven solutions. As a Data & AI Engineer you will design, build and deploy enterprise‑scale AI and machine‑learning solutions, working with a skilled team of engineers and data specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML models across the full lifecycle, from data preparation and feature engineering to model optimisation.
• Build scalable data pipelines and integrate models using Python, SQL and leading ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Implement MLOps practices and support production deployments on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Collaborate with engineers, data professionals and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in AI or Machine Learning.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Hands‑on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of model deployment and cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes and MLOps.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
