Data Analyst – Hybrid (London/Edinburgh/Birmingham/Telford)

About the role

This is a highly technical Data Analyst position within a leading banking client’s Agile delivery team. You will work on a cloud‑based enterprise data platform, bridging business needs and technical implementation to deliver trusted, scalable data products.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document technical and data requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyse and document data flows, lineage and mappings.
• Define API specifications and system integrations.
• Collaborate with developers on ETL processes, data transformations and data‑warehouse solutions.
• Support data modelling and ensure effective delivery from multiple source systems.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and stakeholder engagement across Scrum teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Technical Data Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Proven background working on enterprise data platforms.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience delivering projects in an Agile/Scrum environment.
