Data Analyst – Hybrid, Up to £50,000

About the role

This is a full‑time Data Analyst position based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, working in a hybrid model (three days in the office). You will join a collaborative technology team that turns complex data into actionable insights to support operational performance, reporting and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to deliver business insights.
• Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyse data from enterprise systems.
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Present insights, trends and recommendations through clear visualisations.
• Perform detailed analysis to identify patterns, anomalies and improvement opportunities.
• Provide training and support to maximise adoption of reporting tools.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights for non‑technical audiences.
• Understanding of data modelling concepts.
