Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a senior Data Analyst to join a forward‑thinking, data‑driven organisation in Brighton. This hybrid role combines part‑time remote work with collaborative on‑site days, allowing you to influence business strategy through insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations for senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high‑impact analysis.
• Develop and maintain robust data models and reporting frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes and analytical capability.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to the wider data strategy and shape future data usage.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Proficiency in Python or R for analysis and automation.
• Experience with cloud‑based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical thinking and ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.
• Outstanding communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
