Data Analyst (Python & PL/SQL) – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote Data Analyst with strong Python and PL/SQL expertise to turn large data sets into actionable insights. This contract position offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and competitive pay.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze extensive datasets to identify trends, patterns and business‑critical insights.
• Design, optimise and maintain complex PL/SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Develop Python scripts for data cleaning, automation and advanced statistical analysis.
• Create clear reports and visualisations that communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to define data requirements and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across multiple sources and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a comparable analytical role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Python for data analysis, automation and scripting.
• Expert‑level PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation and manipulation.
