Data Architect – Azure, Databricks & Data Modelling

About the role

Robert Half is supporting a leading property and real‑estate organisation on a Finance Data Lake and Data Transformation programme. They are looking for a hands‑on Data Architect to help design and deliver a scalable enterprise data platform using Azure and Databricks.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and implement a scalable enterprise data platform on Azure.
• Drive best‑practice architecture and engineering standards across the programme.
• Design and optimise data models for finance‑focused data lake solutions.
• Implement Databricks Solution Accelerators and data‑engineering frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Required profile

• Strong background in data architecture and enterprise‑scale data lake initiatives.
• Expert‑level data modelling skills.
• Extensive experience with Databricks and Azure Data Platform.
• Proven DevOps and CI/CD experience within data environments.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and contribute to large transformation programmes.

What we offer

• Hybrid working (London office and remote).
• Initial 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
