Data Architect – Cloud Data Platform (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Data Architect to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions for a multinational firm. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the Wimbledon office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build modern cloud‑based data platforms supporting analytics, reporting and operational systems.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and manage SQL Server databases across on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, data scientists and business teams to deliver data‑driven innovation.
• Ensure data security, reliability and accessibility while optimising performance.
• Shape the organisation's data architecture and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect with hands‑on work using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Track record of designing and optimising data warehouses and large‑scale data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and reporting expertise.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
