Data Architect – Hybrid (1-2 days onsite)

About the role

We are partnering with a large, technology‑driven organisation undergoing a major data transformation. As a Data Architect you will shape the enterprise data landscape, creating unified customer and property data views while supporting system integrations and migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain an enterprise Common Data Model (CDM) architecture across cloud and on‑premises platforms.
• Design and implement hybrid data solutions integrating Azure services, SQL Server, third‑party APIs and external data feeds.
• Develop and govern conceptual, logical and physical data models to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support the creation of unified customer and business data views through robust architecture.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI and Analytics teams to enable efficient ingestion, transformation and reporting.
• Architect secure, scalable third‑party data integrations.
• Drive data governance, metadata management and regulatory compliance initiatives, including GDPR.
• Maintain architecture documentation and communicate solutions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in Enterprise Data Architecture.
• Strong background in data governance, data management and enterprise data modelling.
• Experience designing solutions on public cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise with SQL Server in hybrid cloud/on‑premises environments.
• Experience developing Common Data Models (CDMs) and working with Microsoft Fabric Medallion Architecture.
