Data Cabling Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Cabling Engineer to join our Milton Keynes team. You will work on a variety of structured cabling and network projects across the UK, delivering high‑quality installations that meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and terminate data and network cabling across multiple categories.
• Perform cable pulls and installations in line with industry standards.
• Read and follow technical drawings, schematics and project documentation.
• Install containment systems, cable trays and network cabinets.
• Assist with cable testing, certification and documentation of work.
• Support senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of structured cabling systems and standards.
• Familiarity with different cable types and industry specifications.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings.
• Manual dexterity with good hand‑eye coordination.
• Awareness of health and safety principles.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
