Data Consultant – Reporting & Analytics

About the role

This contract position focuses on reporting and analytics for a leading data consultancy. You will split your time between a key education sector client and a variety of other clients, delivering dashboards, insights and data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client reports and dashboards using Looker Studio.
• Interpret paid media, website and campaign performance data.
• Identify trends and provide clear performance insights.
• Clean and analyse customer data, including CRM datasets.
• Use Python and SQL to analyse large data sets.
• Support reporting and analysis across multiple client projects.
• Present findings in client‑facing meetings and explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and maintaining Looker Studio reports and dashboards.
• Experience working with paid media, website and campaign performance data.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for large‑scale data analysis.
• Experience cleaning and analysing customer data, preferably with CRM exposure.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Familiarity with GA4 and Google Tag Manager is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

What we offer

• £300‑£325 per day (outside IR35)
• 1‑2 days per week onsite in London, hybrid working model
• 3‑month contract with potential for extension
