Data Coordinator – Temporary Hybrid Role

About the role

The university is seeking a temporary Data Coordinator to support its Advancement team. Working hybrid in Central London, you will ensure fundraising and stakeholder data is accurate, reliable and ready for strategic use. The role starts as soon as possible and lasts for four months.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update constituent and fundraising records across systems.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency through regular checks.
• Process data imports, exports and routine record updates.
• Support fundraising, alumni and stakeholder engagement activities with accurate data.
• Produce reports, lists and data insights for the team.
• Assist with compliance to data protection and governance requirements.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and queries.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Advancement department to meet operational goals.

Required profile

• Recent, relevant experience in a similar data management role, preferably within higher education or the not‑for‑profit sector.
• Strong organisational ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience using databases.
• Ability to work with reporting tools.

• Hybrid working model – two days per week in the office.
• £16.99 per hour (£31,100 equivalent salaried), plus holiday pay.
• Full‑time schedule – 35 hours per week.
